Absolutely love it! I was a little hesitant to go for a short reed as I’ve learned how to call on a sean Mann flute call so this is the polar opposite but it is very easy to use! Sound is fantastic and it has great range to get a little higher, louder and faster but does well low and slow too. Definitely a great addition to the lanyard!

I have been waterfowl hunting since I was 15 and I am 40 now. I’ve never spent more than $40 on a call. I have been wanting to for years and have had multiple calls “in my cart” from Cabela’s but they never seemed to be a good fit. After recently trying a buddy’s SFX and doing my own research and following JT Calls page I knew this was the direction I had to go. I went with the Short Fuse and couldn’t be happier. I will be purchasing a duck call in the off season soon. Proud to spend my money on a Hand made “good ole boy’s” business. Thanks for the craftsmanship!

Bought alot of goose calls over the year, I honestly suck at blowing a goose call. Can kill geese but clucking and moaning. All the calls I've purchased either to hard to consistently replicate goose sounds or others issues, mostly im the problem. Haha but this calls super easy to blow and make sound good. Was hesitant to make the purchase, but im not disappointed. Excited to spend some time with it.

Hey man love the call pretty color only thing is sounds a little off I tried to adjust the reed but it’s in the call super tight I can’t move it so I don’t wanna break the reed or the backing so I haven’t messed with it like if you were to try and do a spit and moan on the call it just sounds off
